The Wüstenrot Foundation Award for Documentary Photography is the most important of its kind in Germany. It seeks to promote photographers who concern themselves with real-world themes while continuously redefining photography‘s representational function through contemporary means. Methodically, formally, and technically these works explore the boundaries of photo-documentary reality in different ways. This exhibition presents the award-winning work of prizewinners from the 13th year.
